Yum. This was a delicious lunch meal. Great selection of burgers and other sandwiches. I ordered number 15 mushrooms and onions burger it was awesome. Both onion rings and sweet potato fries are great. Highly recommended.

Mediocre. Not the best, but not the worst. Wouldn't return again unless it was the in-law's choice. Seems to be geared towards the area's older generation.

My family and I have been going there for some time and always have been happy. I think they have one of the best burgers around. There is an older crowd there and there could be a line in prime times during season.

I used to eat here a lot. Unfortunately, there's been a noticeable decline in this restaurant's cleanliness and food quality. If you like moldy hamburger buns and spoiled coleslaw, this is the place for you. Otherwise go to McDonald's across the parking lot.

If you're in the mood for a burger then Lindburgers is the place to go. They have a huge selection, although I always get the same thing: burger stuffed with blue cheese and bacon (it's absolutely delicious). The atmosphere isn't the greatest, but it's comfortable and the service is fairly quick. This little burger joint is located in a weird shopping strip, and you'd hardly know it was there if you weren't specifically looking for it. All in all, if a burger craving strikes, I will definitely continue to head straight to Lindburgers.

Good Burgers, Chicken Taco Sald is also great. Fair Prices. Food is really good but space is limited, I usually do takeout here. I think they have early bird/senior discounts available. If you're not retired you will be the youngest person in there lol.

I'm a fan of their Sweet Potato fries! If you love 'em, you MUST come here and try them! Plus you have a Wide selection of burgers! The meat is juicy and succulent! You'll be so surprised that they are so tasty, that you'll be upset you haven't discovers this place before!

Out and about for a Sunday Drive, and it was REALLY crowded on east Atlantic in the restaurant area so we decided to stop in and have a burger. Good call, not busy easy parking, 50 (?) varieties of burgers. I had a mushroom and onion with sweet potato fries....Very good and done medium rare as ordered, P had a rare plain burger, (many places won't do rare, which I think means not highest quality beef) Definitely worth a try.....

Never been to this location before, but we've been to other locations many times and the burgers are consistently good. The have a HUGE variety of burgers and toppings and I usually create my own burger. Staff is always friendly and attentive. One of our favorite burger places!

The sirloin burgers are always tasty. I love the wraps but my last visit I had their patty melt (grilled onions, cheese and burger on rye bread) and it was yummy. Warning: don't even try to get in during dinner rush during "season" The wait is forever.

This was a random stop for us. Pouring outside this place was the closest to us. It is very small and located in a plaza. It was kinda full to my surprise. The décor is cute. We were immediately greeted and taken to our table. Service was great and super fast. The waitress was very attentive. We ordered a few glasses of wine while we decided on what burger to get. Just a warning there are a TON of burgers to choose from. Finally, I made my decision. I ordered the Jalapeno Popper burger. I am a huge fan of spicy food and this burger hit the spot. It was full of cheddar cheese and jalapenos. You might be disappointed with appearance since all the jalapenos and cheese is stuffed inside. I was for sure they had given me the wrong burger but the waitress confirmed it was all in the inside. We couldn't finish it up but it was great for breakfast in the morning. This Mexican loves spicy burgers for breakfast lol. Overall. I liked it and I shall be back.

Very cute little place. Found it by accident since its in a small shopping center. The hot dog was huge! And we also had the jalapeño burger which is stuffed but a bit plain. Next time I want to try the onion rings!

Ginger iz funny. As well as a great server. She was attentive, calm, friendly and appealing. The meal was hot and fresh. She allowed me to use a coupon and didn't have an auttiude like other places. I will come back.

Here's the thing about this place -- The burgers are very good. Many many choices for toppings and even for the type of burger you want (beef, turkey, veggie, and extra large beef). Creative toppings are all done quite well. Big bowls of salads make a yummy dinner here too. Onion Rings -- now these are the real deal -- large cuts, battered and fried to golden perfection. Wraps are also a nice meal here. Here's the problem -- the play is really dark and, to me, has a feeling of being dark and dingy. There's is fun custom created aviation decor and memorabilia all over walls to ceiling and I feel like it looks like it all needs a good cleaning and that better lighting locations would do justice. Also, the women's bathroom situation is not too good. Not a disaster, but should be much better. Don't know what the men's room situation is.

Hidden gem on Atlantic and Military. I hate that it took us so long to try it out. It's our new favorite burger place! Don't be discouraged by the outside, this place is super cute inside with an old-school aviation/travel theme. The burgers are delicious and there are so many options to choose from - stuffed burgers, bacon burgers, buffalo chicken sandwich, they have so many choices! Definitely give it a try!

Nice atmosphere in this restaurant situated in a strip mall. Burger is really good. I had a mushroom cheddar burger with fries. Service is efficient and prices are good. They have coupons in local papers!

This place is highly over-rated. It is often crowded, and it's hard to understand why. The tables never seem really clean, and it's hit or miss with the waitstaff. Our waitress took our order, was gone a really long time, and brought us food that was cold. She was annoyed when we mentioned it, because it was probably sitting for a while until she got to it. With her attitude we were afraid to send it back, not knowing what she might do. Additionally, the mushrooms they use seem canned. It is so out of sync with a place that tries to portray itself as fresh and creative. I'd rather go to a chain restaurant like Ruby Tuesday or Red Robin than an independent restaurant that allows its employees to show such disdain for customers.

Crudely cut awful dinner salad with chunks of spoiled pepper and tomato that might have been heirloom because it was vintage, having sat in a refrigerator possibly since this ancient restaurant looked new. Onion ring tower delivered with dipping in plastic takeaway cups. There was enough sodium in the ranch to set the seniors around the restaurant vibrating like pinball bumpers. Cruddy burgers entombed in cheese to hide them, and fries that were little grease sponges. If they make a sequel to Hot Tub Time Machine they could shoot it here. The 70s decor remains, retro kitsch. When there were a handful of burger joints around this place could rest easy. Dirty floors and dark red tile so black that it almost looks like another color from years of dirt not being taken off of it. With a Shula Burger up the street and Burger Fi at the other end this place needs an overhaul or a mercy killing.

Lindbergers is a Palm Beach County traditional burger joint. My husband was craving a burger and this place had decent reviews. We were greeted and seated promptly. I told our greeter that it's our first time here and he reviewed the menu with us. We ordered promptly and our meal came out fast, hot and our burgers were cooked just as we like - medium. The fries were tasty and not salted. The New York burger hailed frozen mushrooms, my only disappointment. The staff were great and my burger eating husband says he'll eat here again and I'll try the salads next.

This is great place to get a burger. I also like the steak fries.

This place is dirty and the food is dissapointing. I guess its because of the remodel, but the restaurant smelled of some sort of chemical. Decided to give it another chance after getting sick last time because I had a coupon. My mother and I both asked for our burgers medium well. Mine came out well done and my mother's was bleeding. The waitress with the black or dark brown hair then proceeded to argue with her about how she ordered it instead of quietly taking the burger back and correcting the issue. The real kicker, they refused to take our coupon unless I went and printed it out. I ended up walking to the Office Depot next door. Definitely will never be back!

I am writing this review because of my disappointment in this restaurant. My wife and I have been eating in this restaurant since 2007. We would come down to Florida for vacations and we never missed coming here. Since we moved here we came here twice. The first time we felt "it could have been better" but on Wed. the 15th we agreed to try it again."What a disappointment this time"We both had their number 1 seller, the burger with mushrooms and fried onions and we told the waitress of our disappointment the last time we came. She gave us her condescending nod and said we have a better chef now.We both wanted a medium burger which it was, but served on a soggy roll with a handful of fries and no garnish. It looked like they ran out of plates because there was no room on the plate for the fries.I really thought after mentioning the last trip here she might have said something to the chef about it and he might have thrown a piece of lettuce and some tomato on the plate.Oh and by the way, its not the cheapest burger in town either. For what we paid I really expected more of what we used to enjoy here.

What the frig is this place? We had a BoGo coupon for entrees and thought we would check this place out. Ugh.... We were sooo turned off by the bleak decor, dim lighting, and the smell of old wooden furniture that hadn't been polished in years. Came in for lunch on Saturday, the place seemed empty and the server came up to us and seated us while she was carrying some forks. She had dropped a couple onto the floor and then placed them back with the others.... I am assuming they were all supposed to be "clean"..... ew. She handed us menus that she also dropped on the floor and they were also dirty with some kind of greasy and ketchup spots on them. The menu had extensive selections! We were overwhelmed with the long list of options and right then we decided to bounce out of the restaurant before even ordering anything. Not interested in returning to this location... maybe the Boca location will be better.......?

I ate here during my most recent visit to Delray, although my parents frequent this place and always rave about it. As most of the other reviews state, the decor is very cutesy and relative to Charles Lindberg/flying/airplanes which I can see would appeal to children or the older generations. I am not a burger fan at all, but went for the turkey burger option (they charge 99 cents extra for turkey or veggie burgers) and the massive list of burgers which include cheese toppings, veggies, sauces, dressings....the list goes on and on. I had the "Palm Beacher" which included sauteed mushrooms and green peppers and added some cheese to it as well. I had half leftover as it also included thick cut french fries. Next time I will try the onion rings--hear they are great! Check out this place if you want a casual, reasonably priced and quick meal option.

Good food. Busy decor, and dimly lit. Makes you feel as though you don't want to touch anything or look too closely at details. Overall okay service but a little slow. If you aren't retired you will be the youngest there.

Came here with family and a great choice! 50 burgers to choose from, great fries, loved our waitress and food was ready in no time. It is a burger place so leave it at that. Nothing fancy, cute deco with airplane theme. We split the chocolate mud theme with vanilla ice cream dessert, good choice. Would go back!

Botulism! We ordered Medium burgers and they came out raw- not rare- RAW. The manager brought them back for us and came right back with them. She explained that because they had toppings on them, the kitchen could only sear the cut open edges. They were still raw. When we got up to leave she threatened us telling us she wasn't given the chance to fix the problem and if we left with out paying, she would call the police. We paid and asked for the general managers number. Our waiter said "good luck with that... this manager has been a manager here for 30 years." Then he followed me out the door yelling at me, that he was doing us a favor by serving us so late. (8:30pm) WOW really???!!! We will NEVER EVER recommend or revisit this establishment again.

Tasty burgers, decent service, but you're surrounded by the crankiest old people on the face of the planet as your fellow customers. There's a great deal of variety on the menu, and so far it's all been quite good, but the regular clientele can be really distracting if it's busy-- the location is smack dab in the middle of most of the retirement villages in the area. If you can't stand the sound of old folks complaining, then don't go, but if you can ignore it, it's worth a try.

I used to love their burgers As tourists we go there about once a year. Not sure what happened but after going there this time will not be going back again. While they have a great selection of toppings, the burgers were tasteless and dry. Even Wendy's is better.

Great burgers and a great extended menu. Turn any salad, and they offer quite a few, into a wrap! All are really good. Lot's and lots of creative burger options, they proudly offer 50 different burgers on the menu!! I love spicy food and highly recommend the cajun burger. Not many options for the healthy eater, even the salads are big portions with lots of cheese, dressing etc, probably better off ordering the burger! The food and service are above average for a burger place.

The place has a Charles Lindberg theme and has all sorts of airplane doodads as the decor . There is an extensive burger menu with just about every combination of burger possibilities. The burgers are large and the great thing about them is that they are formed by hand...these are not your bulk frozen patty. The food is good. I have been here several times and the general age of the crowd is older...55 and older. Also, the place closes at 9:00, so you need to get there fairly early. We went once a little after 8:00 and we were closing the place. There is nothing more disconcerting than to have everyone closing down the place while you are still eating! It is a good, reliable burger joint and I will definitely go again!

  • Bill S.

Good quality hamburgers with probably the largest variety of burger options I have ever seen....there must be 100 different burgers here. The decor is old fashioned airplanes and is clean. The location is not the most desirable as it is tucked in a corner of a plaza.

Great cheeseburgers , hot dogs , and potatoe skins . Staff were very polite and made us feel like they were happy to see us. Will definitely be back soon.

On the final lap of the eating tour with the 90 year old walker set. Mom really wanted a burger and Dad heard that Lindburgers was good, so off we went for lunch. After a wide ranging discussion about the 50 odd burgers, we settled on two Lindy Melts. They were delivered hot and cooked exactly as ordered. The grilled onions were big cut and very tasty. The regular fries are cut steakhouse style and the sweet potato fries were conventional cut. Both were hot and tasty. Mom even liked the pickle, and said she was pleasantly surprised at how good the whole meal was, and she is tough to please. We recommend this place highly for what it is - a well thought out burger joint that has been around and knows what it is doing!

This place was alright. I didn't find it to be anything all that special. I had the portabello mushroom burger (it has no meat). It was pretty good but not that spectacular. I've had better in other restaurants but I appreciated they offered that on the menu.. I usually have trouble finding a portabello mushroom burger anywhere... Their menu is very extensive and has a great variety of different burgers. I'll have to try the rest some time. The service was alright and the ambiance was cute with its Lindenbergh/old timey type feel. I'd probably eat there again to try the rest of their stuff.

This place is a good place to go when you know you want a burger, or just relax and eat something traditional. They have managed to stay around in West Delray year after year I think because they offer traditional favorites (Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, Appetizers) that people know will be generously portioned and not lacking in quality. The decor has 3D artistry with an aeronautical theme which younger kids love, but do not look too closely (its dark thankfully) because where we sat in the back right corner booth it has a bit of risque language. [One of the 3D artworks has a hand painted 'sign' that notes a "brothel" upstairs from an airfield. Awkward.]

Burger overload! I have to come back there were about 3 other burgers on the menu that I need to try. My first visit I had the Cajun burger and the mrs had the turkey club. The burger is pretty good. Not 5 guys good or In-n-Out burger good but it gets an honerable mention. They did not skimp on the jalapeno but a thing slice of montery jack cheese wasnt enough. Make sure you ask for extra cheese because the meat to cheese ratio is inadequate. Steak cut fries are the delicious. The clube was Gi-Nor-mus. Seriously the container could not close because it was so big. The mrs. had to eat it over a span of 2.5 days. I'm a fan of this place and going to return for more... Note: the eat in service gets pretty busy, its a good price for a lot of food so it attracts an experienced crowd.

The first time I had Lindburger it was a few months ago and it was really good. Then we decided to try it again about a month ago and my husband and I both ordered turkey burgers. When we picked them up for take-out order they were dry and burnt on one side. Then they also gave us regular fries instead of sweet potato fries that asked for and paid extra for. We called and they said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Not sure we will go back there. That's a bummer.

Lots of burgers to choose from and they're all good. I like the Far East burger. It's topped with their herb cheese and teriyaki sauce. The only complaint I have is that their burgers have gotten smaller. Maybe it's the economy. So, I'll be going to Extreme Eatery for burgers. The portions are huge for less price.

I have been here many time over the past ten or so years. If you love hamburgers, and, the many variants of them, this is the place to go. The meat is delicious, and, perfectly prepared. They have at least 50 varieties of hamburgers on their menu, plus, you can create your own. Consistently good, and, good service.

  • Jennifer K.

Great burgers and service! If you want a burger this is the place, over 40 selections and if you don't like those they'll still make a different one. The only down side is the crowd after 6pm, it's senior citizen heaven but that does not take away from the deliciousness!! I have yet to hear an older cranky gentleman/lady complain =o)

all vegetable cooked to death for me everything was disgusting but old people don't seem to care they should close this place or get somebody new in the future when current generation dies off.

When you read the history about Lindburgers you will see that they have been serving great burgers in Delray Beach since 1983. I was lucky enough to have tasted their burgers in late 1985 for my first visit and little did I know that I would be moving to Delray seventeen years later. Now I can go whenever I want! Lindburgers is a really, really cute restaurant. It is quite small; several booths along the wall and 10 or twelve "four-tops" fill the place up. The walls, counters, and tabletops are all decorated with cute aeronautical phrases, pictures, and paraphernalia. Enough to keep you busy for at least three or four visits. I was in the mood for a good burger last Sunday night so once again I made my way to the NW corner of Military and Atlantic in Delray. It was almost 8pm so the early bird crowd was already home and under the covers. The better for me as there was no wait and we were seated immediately. Lisa, our server, took our order and brought our drinks. In addition to the 50 gourmet burgers that they list on the menu they offer a plethora of soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and platters. I started with a cup of really good split pea soup. It needed some salt and pepper, but otherwise was good. I guess they have to make it kind of bland for the geriatric clientele who probably are all on low salt diets so anytime something has salt in it they think it tastes "salty." On this occasion I ordered #50, the "Truck Stop" burger. For an extra 99 cents I upgraded to a 10 oz. instead of the standard 7 oz. patty. It comes with lettuce, tomato, sliced raw onion, and mayonnaise on the side. I added some sweet pickle relish and an order of thick cut french fries. Yum! Michelle ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was big enough to choke a horse. She said it was exceptionally good and took half home to eat at another time. In the past we have tried many of their different burgers and found them all to be top notch. For an extra treat try their onion rings or sweet potato fries. I have never had a bad meal here and for a restaurant to still be around after all these years says something for their good food, good atmosphere, and good service. When you're in the mood for a great burger head on over to Lindburgers and tell them you heard about them here.

I visit Lindburgers for lunch often and I'm always greeted by a sweet girl, ready and willing to help. She even remembers my drink order and brings it to me while I peruse the menu. The staff is helpful and the portions are plentiful. I eagerly await every lunch time outing at Lindburgers. Great burgers!!

I've been here a few times now and I really enjoy the burgers here. I think my friends and I usually bring down the average age in the place by about 20 years (and we're not that young...), but there's a reason this place is always packed. I'm not a huge fan of onion rings, but their foot o' rings with the tiger sauce is pretty killer. I love a good burger and you can get a great one here with pretty much whatever toppings you want. One word of caution - they close relatively early. If you're hungry for a burger after 8, look elsewhere.
